Weddings
The facilities of First Congregational Church are available for weddings celebrating marriage as an act of Christian faith and worship. The facilities are available to any couple desiring Christian marriage; membership in the church is not a requirement.

You will be provided an opportunity to work with your pastor to contribute elements to the wedding worship service in accordance with your needs and in keeping with Christian practice and good taste. Since the ceremony is an act of worship, you are encouraged to prepare for the service with careful attention.

Your first appointment will be with our wedding coordinator, Karen McCue, to tour the church and facilities and discuss the procedures for weddings at First Congregational Church. She will discuss the church’s guidelines and suggestions for the wedding with you and will be present at both the rehearsal and the wedding itself.

All weddings in our church must be coordinated by the wedding coordinator. She will coordinate the rehearsal and the wedding with you and the pastor.

Your wedding date should be established well in advance of the event. Weddings will be scheduled so that they do not conflict with other church events.

Since scheduling your wedding date is the first important step, printing invitations or finalizing other plans should only be done after consulting the wedding coordinator.

Your next appointments will be with the pastor selected to officiate at your wedding. It is your responsibility to contact the pastor to schedule your pre-marital consultations. These appointments should commence no later than six weeks before the wedding date.

For more information email Karen McCue, our Wedding Coordinator, or call her at 508.429.1382.

Funerals and Memorial Services
As a community we share each others joy and pain. When a loss occurs, Bonnie is available for support and counseling as well as to preside during a service of remembrance.

Arrangements are made in conjuction with a funeral home and services may be held either in our church sanctuary or at the funeral parlor.

You do not need to be a member of the congregation in order to receive services. Please contact our minister Bonnie, for more information or if you have questions.
