Friends in Christ,

May the grace and peace and love of God be with you all! We invite you to worship with us, and to consider joining with us on a journey of faith as disciples of Jesus Christ. As members of First Congregational Church, UCC of Holliston, we share our spiritual lives, our joys and sorrows, and we search for God's presence with us in both. We live our lives together as a community of faith. We believe that through worship and shared prayer, through outreach and service, we can experience the transformation and joy the Gospel of Jesus Christ promises us.

We affirm that God calls each and every one of us, in very unique and individual ways, into this Church. We all participate in the ministry of Jesus in this beautiful and broken world, using our own gifts and talents for God's work of healing and wholeness. We often say these words of the United Church of Christ Statement of Faith, written as a hymn to God:

"You call us into your church to accept the cost and joy of discipleship, to be your servants in the service of others, to proclaim the gospel to all the world and resist the powers of evil, to share in Christ's baptism and eat at his table, to join him in his passion and victory." 

We invite you to join with us in worship (10 am Sunday!!), and in following Jesus in his ministry. We welcome ALL people into the life and work of our community. We are inclusive and filled with God's Spirit, traditional and innovative. We say, with our wider UCC, "no matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here!" God is indeed 'still speaking' … come, and listen with us for that holy Word, that beloved Voice.
