Costa Rica Intergenerational Mission Trip
We are very excited to announce that a group of approximately 25 church members will be embarking on an intergenerational mission trip to Costa Rica. We will be travelling to Carillos Bajo de Poas, Costa Rica to work with Strong Missions on a variety of projects to benefit the less fortunate of Costa Rica. The trip is schedule for June 25th to July 3rd. Although final details of exactly what work we will be doing are yet to be determined, we anticipate having a mix of construction-type work and work with children a Vacation Bible School or similar activities.
If you are interested in supporting this mission trip, please watch for upcoming fundraising efforts to help offset a portion of the cost of the trip for participants. Any fundraising will be used to offset the Strong Missions fee. Airfare costs are the responsibility of participants.
If you would like more information on Strong Missions (our mission partner), please visit www.strongmissions.com. If you have questions about the trip or would like more information, please contact Reverend Bonnie or Matt and Amy Varrell. If you would like to subscribe to our Google Group, which will the main method of disseminating trip information, please visit http://groups.google.com/group/fcc-costa-rica and request to become part of the group.
We hope you will support our church family on this exciting opportunity to follow the teachings of Jesus internationally.
