Volunteer for Salvation Army Dinners each month!
Did you know that FCC organizes and provides a meal for the Salvation Army in Framingham on the 3rd Tuesday of each month? We would love your help! This is a great way for families to work together and help others by preparing a meal. Each month all the food is purchased and carefully laid out in the kitchen the Sunday before the serve date. A very simple recipe is provided. Prepare the food, make a salad or cook a batch (or two) of brownies. Return the food to the church on the Tuesday needed. That’s it!
Over the summer, we run low on volunteers but the folks at SA still need to eat. Please consider signing up. All the information you need is located on the bulletin board across from the kitchen/outside Jordan Hall or you can contact Kim Young at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. Thank you in advance!!!
Also, the Salvation Army is looking for volunteers to help serve dinner on the following dates. If you are interested and available to be at the Salvation Army at 5:15pm to serve for any of these dates, please let Sheila Joslin know. 508-429-7259. Dates: 8/24, 8/28, 9/29, 11/24.

Sharing Our Abundance With Our Neighbors the First Sunday of Every Month
The first Sunday of each month is "Food Pantry Sunday" at our church. When you come to church each Communion Sunday, please bring items for the pantry and place them in the baskets at the back of the sanctuary. Suggested donations for the Food Pantry this month are: Paper Towels, Progresso Soups, Canned Tuna, Canned Turkey, Cookies, Cereal and Snacks for kid’s lunches. The food we bring will be brought to the food pantry each month. Thank you so much for spreading the love of God in Holliston!
