Christian Education is one of the most important ministries of the First Congregational Church of Holliston. We are dedicated to providing a welcoming, safe, and joy-filled environment that expresses God's love for all.

Sunday School

Sunday School classes are held during worship. The classes are led by teacher volunteers, and we use the Season's of the Spirit lectionary-based curriculum. Classes are held for the following age groups:

Infant (childcare only)
Toddlers (childcare only)
Preschool
Kindergarten
Grade 1
Grade 2
Grade 3
Grade 4
Grade 5/6
Grade 7/8

Children in preschool (ages 3 - 4) should report to their classroom at the beginning of worship. Students in Kindergarten through Grade 8 report to their classrooms during the dismissal hymn (about 15 minutes into worship). Sunday School runs from September through mid-June and has open enrollment so you may join in at any time.

Affirming Faith

For students entering 9th grade we offer our Affirming Faith program designed to prepare students for Confirmation. It meets once a month, and runs from September through June.

Confirmation

Students in 10th grade are invited to join our Confirmation Program to prepare them for membership in the church. The program runs from September through June and includes classroom instruction, mission work, and fellowship activities.
